24.06.2015 | Tracking universal health coverage: First global monitoring report
Joint WHO/World Bank Group report, June 2015

Today, 12 June, the World Bank and WHO are releasing the first-ever global progress report on universal health coverage. Today also marks the start of the six-month countdown to Universal Health Coverage Day 2015 – and more than 600 organizations have already signed on.

The new progress report highlights global momentum for universal health coverage as well as unacceptable gaps. We need your help to get the message out: Please use the toolkit below to remind the world that even as universal health coverage catches on, health for all is a right too many people are waiting for. You can also watch the launch event live now.

A statement welcoming the report was issued by The Rockefeller Foundation, Save the Children, Management Sciences for Health, Action for Global Health, Community Working Group on Health, Public Health Foundation of India, African Platform for Universal Health Coverage, BRAC, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and DSW (Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevoelkerung).
