The General Assembly of the International Union Against Cancer (UICC) has elected, in Geneva, Dr. Eduardo Cazap as its president for the following 6 years.

This organization is the most important NGO in the global fight against cancer and it has more than 300 member organizations in over a 100 countries.

Since its creation, in 1933, this will be the first time it’ll be presided over by an Argentinean.
