08.03.2018 | City Cancer Challenge 2025

The International Union Against Cancer (UICC) and the government of Uruguay signed a cooperation agreement in Geneva on February 16 to jointly lead the "City Cancer Challenge 2025" project. Launched in January 2017, "C / Can 2025: City Cancer Challenge" is a multi-sector initiative that helps cities lead the design, planning and implementation of solutions for cancer treatment.

C / Can 2025 aims to increase the number of people with access to quality cancer treatment in cities around the world, through a network of motivated partners that include municipal leaders, governments, NGOs, UN agencies and national companies.
