Dr. Francisco Orlandi was born in Santiago de Chile in 1958.

He studied Medicine in the Chile University from 1976 to 1982, having specialized in Oncology.
He is a member of the Chilean Society of Cancer since July 4, 1984; Graduate in Oncology at the Paris University; member of ESMO since 1991 and of ASCO since 1993.

Has held executive postions in the Chilean Society of Cancer (President in 1998) and in the Federation of Cancer Societies of MERCOSUR (South Common Market) having been their President in 1999.
