The French-Brazilian Oncology Society and the Association Franco-Brésilienne de Cancérologie organize a biennial multidisciplinary oncology conference. The first was held in 2002, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The upcoming congress, in 2010, will bring together more than forty French and American speakers, as well as 1200 Brazilian physicians. All speeches and lectures will have simultaneous translation in Portuguese, French and English. Our partnership with ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology), established in 2006, will continue with an “Advanced course” in one day during the 2010 meeting with speakers from ASCO, with simultaneous translation in English, French and Portuguese. Oral and Poster Sessions provide participants the opportunity to present their research. Pharmaceutical Industry and other companies support the congress and present their products and research in the exhibition area as well as in special satellite symposia.
